Sullivan Renaissance Team

The staff and consultants of Sullivan Renaissance are professionals with many years of experience in their fields. The staff provides hands-on assistance and support to communities made up largely of volunteers. Consultants bring their expertise in particular fields to assist Sullivan Renaissance with specific program needs.

Glen Pontier
 
Glenn Pontier, Director, is responsible for day to day management and coordination of the overall Sullivan Renaissance program including staff supervision and public information.  He also represents the program on several Sullivan County boards and facilitates collaborations with agency partners.

Helen Budrock
 
Helen Budrock, Community Planner, is responsible for conducting outreach to communities, and helping groups move beyond beautification to address broader community development issues. She works primarily with Category C projects and also coordinates the Community Development and Technical Assistance Programs.

Kathleen Capozzoli
 
Kathleen Capozzoli, Office Manager, oversees the day to day operations and provides support to program staff. In addition, she is responsible for program budgeting, grant monitoring, and administering the merchant discount program. She also co-chairs the annual Sullivan Renaissance-SullivanArc Garden Tour.

Colleen Emery
 
Colleen Emery, Project Coordinator, oversees the public awareness campaign and development of the Sullivan Renaissance website, in addition to providing general support to the core program. She researches and manages special projects such as the Sullivan Renaissance publication, solar Renaissance lamppost demonstration project and the Mini-E Field Trial.

Denise Frangipane
 
Denise Frangipane, Program Development Officer, is responsible for environmental and youth initiatives.  In addition to working with communities in the core program, she oversees special initiatives such as environmental demonstrations, the internship program, the Winter Conference and the Awards Ceremony.   She also manages the Harvest Festival at Bethel Woods.

Vivian Multari-Ginsberg

Vivian Multari-Ginsberg, Horticultural Community Liaison, is responsible for horticultural advice and assistance to Sullivan Renaissance community groups. She coordinates the mini-grant program and assists with outreach to seasonal communities.

Saraid Gonzalez

Saraid Gonzalez, Administrative Assistant, is responsible for the day to day operations of the office including support of program staff. In addition, she coordinates Sullivan Renaissance program functions and events including the annual Winter Conference, Spring Forum and Awards Ceremony.

Sullivan Renaissance Consultants

Mary Lewis, Maintenance and Design Consultant, helps Sullivan Renaissance evaluate past garden and landscaping projects to determine the kind of maintenance program needed to sustain them in the future, and helps fashion a program to raise garden design standards in new projects.
