‘How to Fill Out the Paperwork’ Seminar on March 5

[FERNDALE] – Communities interested in participating in the 2008 Sullivan Renaissance grant program can get help in planning their projects and completing their applications during the “How Do You Fill Out the Paperwork?” seminar beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 5 at the CVI Building in Ferndale.
Sullivan Renaissance staff and steering committee members will meet individually with groups to discuss project ideas and review paperwork. Space is limited, pre-registration is advised.
Applications are available for download from the Sullivan Renaissance web site (http://www.sullivanrenaissance.org/participate/applications/) in a portable document format (PDF) with fillable form fields. Applications can be completed electronically and e-mailed to Sullivan Renaissance (along with any other required documentation) or printed out and mailed before the March 17 deadline.
If requested, Sullivan Renaissance representatives will also visit communities at their convenience to explain the program and assist with the application process.
Grant applications are due on Monday, March 17. Grants will be awarded at the Spring Forum on March 27 at 7:00 p.m. at the CVI Building in Liberty. Projects must be completed in August.
Sullivan Renaissance is a beautification and community development program principally funded by the Gerry Foundation. Additional funding has been secured by NYS Senator John J. Bonacic and Assemblywoman Aileen M. Gunther.
