Sullivan Renaissance Grant Seminar on March 11

[FERNDALE] – Communities interested in participating in the 2009 Sullivan Renaissance grant program can get help in planning their projects and completing their applications during the “How to Fill Out the Paperwork” seminar beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 11 at the CVI Building in Ferndale.
staff will meet individually with groups to discuss project ideas and review paperwork. Space is limited, pre-registration is advised.
Applications are available for download in a portable document format (PDF) with fillable form fields from the Sullivan Renaissance web site (http://www.sullivanrenaissance.org/participate/applications/). Applications can be completed electronically and e-mailed to Sullivan Renaissance (along with other required documentation) or printed out and mailed before the March 30 deadline.
If requested, Sullivan Renaissance representatives will visit communities at their convenience to explain the program and assist with the application process.
Beautification and community development grant applications are due on Monday, March 30. These grants will be awarded at the Spring Forum on April 16 at 7:00 p.m. at the CVI Building in Liberty. Projects must be completed in August.
Please note that several Sullivan Renaissance grant programs have different deadlines and requirements, including: environmental, municipal and seasonal grants; internship and scholarship programs for young people. Check the website for more information.
