[FERNDALE] – A seminar revealing the “Best Kept Secrets of Sullivan Renaissance” is being held on Wednesday, June 3rd at 7:00 p.m. in the CVI Building.
The seminar is a great opportunity for groups to share tips and secrets, as well as network with each other. Did you know that some successful groups motivate volunteers by finding a few individuals who can contribute refreshments for others who are doing the work? This broadens the number of people involved while rewarding those who are doing the “heavy lifting.”
Share these and other “best kept secrets” and listen to the Sullivan Renaissance staff share theirs. Are you selling plants as a fundraiser that another group could use in their project? Do you know of a good source for mulch? What have you done to involve youth in your project?
Binders from award-winning past projects will also be available for review.
Space is limited, pre-registration is requested. Refreshments will be provided. To register or for more information, visit Sullivan Renaissance at www.sullivanrenaissance.org or call 845-295-2445.
Sullivan Renaissance is a beautification and community development program principally funded by the Gerry Foundation. Additional funding has been secured by NYS Senator John J. Bonacic and Assemblywoman Aileen M. Gunther. Sponsorships have been provided by WSUL/WVOS for Category A projects and by Bold Gold Media Group/Thunder 102 for Category B projects.
