[FERNDALE] – A workshop on how organizations can use their “prizes” and completion grants will be presented to community groups that participated in Sullivan Renaissance 2009. The program is Wednesday, September 2 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the CVI Building in Ferndale.
Beautification groups that successfully completed projects this year receive a completion grant ranging from $250 up to $5000 depending on their category level. In addition, more than a dozen groups received additional grants up to $10,000 at the August 10th awards ceremony for demonstrating excellence in particular areas.
These funds are collectively referred to as “Phase II Grant Awards” and this workshop will provide valuable information on eligible uses for those grants, as well as ideas for how groups can use the grants to enhance their project and get a jump start on next year.
Pre-registration is requested by Monday, August 31. Contact Saraid Baez at 845-295-2445 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Sullivan Renaissance is a beautification and community development program principally funded by the Gerry Foundation. Additional funding has been secured by NYS Senator John J.
