WILL YOU DISPLAY YOUR GARDEN?

SullivanArc and Sullivan Renaissance to Host Garden Tour on July 23, 2011

September 27, 2010

[SULLIVAN COUNTY] – Would you exhibit your private garden next summer to a limited number of individuals as a benefit for the SullivanArc Horticulture Program?  SullivanArc and Sullivan Renaissance are looking for homeowners to be part of the 3rd Annual Sullivan County Garden Tour on Saturday, July 23, 2011.

Next year’s tour will feature interesting and special flower gardens along the Route 17 corridor.  Approximately eight gardens will be selected for viewing.  Volunteers can assist at each garden if needed.

Individuals interested in having their gardens considered should contact Kathleen Capozzoli at Sullivan Renaissance at 845-295-2452 or kcapozzoli@sullivanrenaissance.org

This year’s garden tour was in the western portion of Sullivan County, ending at ECCE Bed and Breakfast in Barryville.  The successful event provided a fun, inspirational and educational experience for garden admirers and enthusiasts.

SullivanArc is a not-for-profit agency dedicated to providing support and services to over 800 individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities and to their families.  Sullivan Renaissance is a beautification and community development program principally funded by the Gerry Foundation.
