ELEMENTS OF GARDEN DESIGN

Create a garden that puts the ‘right plant’ in the ‘right place’

January 3, 2013

[FERNDALE] – Starting a garden can be a fun and exciting activity!  Yet knowing how to design the garden well can significantly decrease the amount of work required to maintain it.  Learn how to incorporate the right plants into the space you have at Sullivan Renaissance’s “Elements of Garden Design” seminar on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at the CVI Center in Ferndale.

The seminar will focus on proactive ways that smart design can significantly decrease maintenance.  The key elements to managing garden maintenance include site analysis, plant selection and sound garden design techniques.

Everyone is welcome to attend.  This presentation will help both individuals and groups begin garden projects.  Refreshments will be served.  Please RSVP by January 8.

Sullivan Renaissance is a beautification and community development program principally funded by the Gerry Foundation.  For more information or to register, call 845-295-2445 or visit www.sullivanrenaissance.org.
