APPLICATIONS ON-LINE

Apply for a Beautification Grant from Sullivan Renaissance

February 3, 2014

[FERNDALE] – Sullivan Renaissance is accepting applications for its 2014 community beautification and maintenance support grant programs.  Deadline for completed applications is Wednesday, March 19.

Applications are available in a portable document format (PDF) with fillable form fields by going to [http://www.sullivanrenaissance.org/grants/applications/].  They can be completed electronically and e-mailed to Sullivan Renaissance (along with required documentation) or printed and mailed by the deadline.

If requested, Sullivan Renaissance representatives will visit communities at their convenience to explain the program, review the garden design plans and assist with the application process.

Other Sullivan Renaissance programs – including environmental, technical assistance, community development, mini-grants, seasonal demonstration, Community Mitzvah Award, internships and scholarships – have their own application deadlines which vary based on the program.

Sullivan Renaissance will launch its 2014 program and new initiatives at its Annual Conference, Local Market & Expo on Saturday, March 8 at the CVI Center in Ferndale.  This year’s theme is “Revitalizing Sullivan County – the Difference is You” with a keynote address by Svante Myrick, Mayor of Ithaca.  The conference features an expo with gardening and landscaping exhibits, an indoor market filled with local products, and presentation of the Annual Sullivan First Achievement Awards.

For more information, call the Sullivan Renaissance office at 845-295-2445.  Sullivan Renaissance is a beautification and community development program principally funded by the Gerry Foundation.
