Winning homes and businesses that enhance Sullivan County

[MONTICELLO] – Winners of the 2006 “Sullivan Showcase Awards” were announced to over 160 people on November 15 at the Eagle’s Nest in Bloomingburg.  Sponsored by the Sullivan County Board of Realtors and Sullivan Renaissance, the awards recognize owners of homes and businesses that enhance the appearance of their community. 

 

·     Best Small Residential Structure Renovation: 29 Main St., Mountaindale – Ken & Barb Schmitt

·     Best Large Residential Structure Renovation: 10 Tempel Rd., Livingston Manor – Paul Hargrove & Jamie Stankevicius

·     Best New Residential Construction (under 2500 sf): 96 Crawford Rd., Barryville – Catskill Farms

·     Best New Residential Construction (over 2500 sf): 38 Overlook Dr., Callicoon – Anne & Craig Schumacher

·     Unique & Interesting: Merriewold Club, West Brook Rd, Forestburgh – Peter K. & Occu Schumann

·     Best New Multi-Residential: 3 Timberwolf Rd., Liberty – Jeremy Gorelick, Emanon Equities of Sullivan County

Winners and finalists in each category also received certificates from U.S. Rep. Maurice D. Hinchey, State Senator John J. Bonacic and Assembly Member Aileen M. Gunther.  Showcase host Sheldon Slifstein encouraged everyone to begin thinking about nominations for 2007.
