SULLIVAN RENAISSANCE GRANT

‘How Do You Fill Out the Paperwork?’ Seminar on March 7

February 21, 2007

[FERNDALE] – Communities interested in participating in the 2007 Sullivan Renaissance grant program can get help in planning their projects and completing their applications during the “How Do You Fill Out the Paperwork?” seminar beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 7 at the CVI Building in Ferndale.

Sullivan Renaissance staff and steering committee members will meet individually with groups to discuss project ideas and review paperwork.  Space is limited, pre-registration is advised.

If requested, Sullivan Renaissance representatives will also visit communities at their convenience to explain the program and assist with the application process.

Applications are due on Monday, March 19.  Grants will be awarded on March 29 at 7:00 p.m. at the CVI Building in Liberty.  Projects must be completed in August.

The 2007 program was unveiled at the Sullivan Renaissance Conference and Expo earlier this month.  During the last six years Sullivan Renaissance has funded over 200 projects in all 15 towns and 6 villages in Sullivan County

Sullivan Renaissance is a beautification and community development program principally funded by the Beaverkill Foundation and the Gerry Foundation.  Additional funding has been secured by NYS Senator John J. Bonacic and Assemblywoman Aileen M. Gunther.
