'HOSPITALITY IS FUN'
Certification Seminar and 'Summer Fun Season' Kickoff
June 19, 2007
BRIDGEVILLE - Sullivan Hospitality will kick off the "Summer Fun Season" with a series of activities, including a hospitality seminar, at Holiday Mountain Ski and Fun Park in Bridgeville from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 27. The program is free. The news media is invited.
Here's a chance for local business owners to find out about various "summer fun activities" in Sullivan County, network with their colleagues about costumer service issues, and receive Sullivan Hospitality certification. Almost one year to the day after last year's devastating floods, Sullivan County is back and ready for the summer.
The Sullivan Hospitality Certification Seminar - including showing of the famous fish video - is part of the evening program. In addition to Holiday Mountain, other local destinations and attractions will distribute information about their activities. Door prizes and refreshments are also included.
The Holiday Mountain Fun Park offers everything from go-karts and bumper boats, to batting cages and an arcade, to mini-golf and a climbing wall, and much more. Seminar participants will have a chance to sample the fun park rides. The "Summer Fun Season" kickoff will also preview the "Family Fun Day" scheduled on Saturday, July14 at Holiday Mountain sponsored by the Sullivan County Chamber of Commerce.
Sullivan Hospitality is designed to help those who live in Sullivan County - as well as those who visit - understand the positive potential of the county. During the seminar, businesses are given the tools and help needed in order to get certified in the program. "Sullivan Smile" posters and buttons will be available for distribution. Large "Sullivan Smile" car magnets are available for purchase from certified businesses.
The chamber promotes and advances the commercial, financial, industrial and civic interests of its membership to improve business and build a better community in which to live and work.
